Kyogle Osteopathy & Wellbeing was founded by Shannon Apps in 2019. Shannon's rural upbringing, passion for health and love of the Northern Rivers region inspired her to open a multi-disciplinary clinic in Kyogle. Shannon and her team, having all come from the bush, are dedicated to improving health outcomes for people living in rural areas. The team enjoys assisting people move through their pain by helping them understand the nature of their injury, and empowering them with the knowledge and the tools they need to help themselves.

Dr Shannon Apps
Director/Principal Osteopath

Shannon is a government registered Osteopath who has completed both a Bachelor of Clinical Science and a Master of Osteopathic Medicine.

 

Shannon originates from the North West NSW country town of Moree. Her rural upbringing, passion for health and love of the Northern Rivers region has inspired her to open a multi-disciplinary clinic in Kyogle.

 

Shannon enjoys gardening, yoga and spending time with family and friends.

 

With a gentle approach to treatment tailored to the individual, Shannon uses subtle indirect methods, including fascial unwinding, counter-strain, visceral manipulation, Osteopathy in the Cranial Field (OCF) and balanced ligamentous tension (BLT).

Dr Darcy Nicholls
Osteopath

Darcy is a government registered Osteopath who has completed both a Bachelor of Clinical Science and Master of Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University (SCU) in Lismore.  

Having lived in the Northern Rivers area her entire life, Darcy is excited to begin using her new skills to support people with their pain, function, and overall health.

 

Darcy takes a very direct approach to osteopathic care and is keen to support patients with strategies to help manage their conditions outside of the clinic.

Dr Jamuna Edwards
Osteopath

Jamuna is a government registered Osteopath who completed her Osteopathic studies at Southern Cross University in Lismore, graduating with a Bachelor of Clinical Science and a Master of Osteopathic Medicine.

Originally from the Northern Rivers region, Jamuna has recently relocated home after living and working in a busy practice in QLD. 

Jamuna enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions and uses many different techniques specifically tailored to your needs, to help get you back on track as soon as possible. 

Jamuna sees every patient as being completely unique and focuses on the individual, listening to and hearing their story, understanding what they want from treatment and how osteopathy can help on their path to wellbeing.
